Yes it is true that you could be swimming in your new pool in as little as 7 days with the choice of a composite swimming pool. The key to this accelerated process is that most of the critical work of building the pool structure and finished surfaces are completed before we ever begin. These critical elements are brought together at the factory by skilled professionals and in a controlled environment to ensure quality pools time after time.

Since most of the critical work is completed before we ever begin, construction of your pool is expedited. We begin by laying the pool shape out on the ground to the correct dimensions. We will consult with you at an earlier date to confirm the exact location and elevation to establish the pool. Excavating and subgrade work will be the first major task performed to complete your pool. Usually this will take the majority of the first day to complete as the bottom of the excavation will have to be properly finished to the exact dimensions of the pool floor. The second day is when you will really begin to see your dreams come true. The crane will arrive onsite along with your new swimming pool. After close inspection of the pool and the area needed for the crane, the pool will be lifted from the truck and set promptly into place inside the excavation. Soon after making final adjustments we will proceed to fill the pool with water. As the water level rises we will backfill the excavated area around the pool. Now with only two days into the job we see our beautiful pool taking shape. From this point we will prepare the final grade work and spend the next few days finishing the plumbing and electrical connections as well as installing the concrete decking and filtration equipment for your new pool.

With the fast installation process of the composite pools it makes a great pool for off-season and wintertime construction. Here in the Middle Tennessee area we only have a few weeks around February that it is too cold to pour concrete. The concrete decking is the only part of the construction process that has a weather related issue to deal with. Many people are realizing that if they want to have a pool built, they need to get their preferred builder when they can. As a pool company, we often have to turn folks away because we cannot fit them into our schedule because of time consuming custom concrete and vinyl liner pools. We could easily make many more people happy by installing composite pools.

I will not insult your intelligence with tons of sales material from a manufacturer, I will simple give you information from our perspective as a pool builder. We did lots of research on various fiberglass pool companies before choosing the company we felt would give us the best quality and care. In the next few paragraphs I will enlighten you with the reasons we feel our pool will be a great investment for your backyard pleasure.
We offer only the highest quality composite pools available. Our line of composite pools do not look worn and faded only after a few years like most fiberglass pools that you may find currently installed. The difference is made by three key elements of the pool. The first element which if common to any concrete pool is perimeter tile at the waterline. This is a visual and functional asset and unlike tile mortared to a concrete pool shell will not pop off from yearly freeze thaw cycles. Most common fiberglass pools will fade and change colors over the years above the waterline which is not an attractive feature. This is not the case when this area is covered by decorative tile. The second key element is one of a remarkable change. Instead of the typical gel-coat finish that is usually found on fiberglass pools and watercraft, our pools have a unique surface finish applied at the factory as the first step in the manufacturing process. This finish has the look of marble and is quite similar to the corian that may be on your sinks and counter tops. This is an extremely durable finish and again lends the appearance of the concrete pool. While this finish may very well look like the expensive aggregate finishes found in concrete pools, it is nonporous like the concrete pool finishes. This means that you will have the easy maintenance of a smooth surface like the common gel-coat finish or the vinyl liner pools. This brilliant new finish is available in three attractive color ranges to appeal to any setting. We do however offer the plain white gel-coat finish for customers that simply want it. The third key element is that we install your concrete decking on top of the composite shell instead of leaving this exposed to the weather. This is an option to the builder but we usually see other builders leaving the top edge of the pool exposed by pouring concrete against it. When builders use this method they save money by not having to buy the expensive and disposable forms for each job. While this does save the builder money, it creates a place for water to enter the backfill area of the pool a few years down the road when natural movement between the pool and the decking occur and with this area left exposed to the sun fading will take place. With our method no part of the fiberglass shell is left exposed to the elements of nature and you have the exact same appearance of the concrete pool (concrete decking, tile, water). We would rather spend another $500.00 and do it the right way.

Terms of our 10 year workmanship warranty: This warranty is limited to and exclusive of work performed by Sloan Construction Services on the installation of this composite swimming pool and directly pertains to the methods used to install the said swimming pool. We specifically warrant that the methods used to install the swimming pool are based on sound knowledge of the building practice and shall not result in circumstance that would render this pool unusable or inadequate in comparison to the date of original installation. This warranty includes coverage for the circumstance pertaining to certain hydrostatic pressures commonly found and produced by ground and run-off water that can upheave or cause damage to any type of pool structure but due to the water weight to pool weight ratio found with a composite pool is more common. This warranty will not cover this hydrostatic condition if the condition is produced or compounded by circumstances out of the control of Sloan Construction Services. This warranty is based on our confidence in our workmanship. Slight nominal settling and movement common to all building structures shall not be considered as faulty and cause for warranty consideration. This warranty does not cover common slight cracking of concrete decking that are commonly caused by shrinkage during the curing process or any slight cracking caused by irregular shape or form due to decking design. This warranty is provided to you in good faith. We hope that you will choose Sloan Construction Services for your dream pool!
