This customer had a nice view from an upper wood deck area but wanted to utilize the area that was below. The idea was to use the area for gatherings and a new hot tub. This site had an existing swimming pool that was 33 years old. The surface of the concrete had been worn off considerably due to extensive pressure washing. The idea was to create a new look for the pool setting. The method of choice for this project was to stain and engrave the existing concrete. A cobblestone design was selected for the unique appearance. Four dogwood blossoms were inset and framed by a cobblestone boarder. Pigmented semi-transparent concrete stains were used for color.

This is one of our highly prized swimming pool projects. One feature that is sure to get your attention is the rock wall around the back of the pool. While this may appear to be authentic stacked stone, actually it is stamped concrete. This is a relatively new technology in stamped concrete as it uses a special lightweight polymer cement that is waterproof, fireproof and extremely durable. The proprietary mixture is of our own design and will adhere to virtually any surface.
